Page 1 Differential Case: Service and Repair Removing and installing cover for final drive Tool Removal 1. Drain transmission oil. 2. Remove drive shaft at the transmission and protect the shaft against damage (use scrap pieces of hose with a diameter of 30 mm). 3. Remove halfshaft flange. 4. Unclip hydraulic line for clutch slave cylinder. 5. Unscrew hexagon-head bolts for cover and press off cover on alternate sides. Installation 1. Fit sealing ring untwisted. 2. Coat sealing ring with transmission oil and fit cover. Use special tool 9321 to aid assembly.
