Alarm system diagnosis 911 Carrera (996) Test point 1 Door(s)secured and 1. Disconnectplug connection X 11 (driver's side). terminal 15 on 2. Check the lead from X 11 pin Al (pin side)to the alarm control Fault code 01 module plug I, pin 5, for continuity. 3. Check the leads from X 11 pin Al and pin 26 (sleeve side) for continuity. Note There is another plug connection in the door on the door lock module. 4. Disconnectthe plug connection X 12 (passenger'sside). 5. Check the lead from X 12 pin Al (pin side)to the alarm control module plug I, pin 28, for continuity. 6. Check the leads from X 12 pin Al and pin 26 (sleeve side)for continuity. Test point 2 Door lock barrel closed, Note activated longer than 60 s This fault can also be caused by incorrect operation (door lock Fault code 02 actuated toward "Closed"direction for longer than 60 seconds). 1.
