With the IMS and bearing puller tube centered, tighten the bolts on the mounting plate firmly, keeping the lip centered on the end of the intermediate shaft. Secure into place using a IMS flange nut. Do not over tighten. Finger tighten ONLY. Remove the bearing puller tube from the mounting NOTE plate. Some drivers will not allow fitting the 12-pt nut. Fitting of nut not necessary.
