Difficult to see from that photo. It looks like there are only 3 pins on the main plug, so they won't have heaters. What are the wire colours on the black plug? Is that the passenger side seat? If so, I think the white plug is for the child seat airbag deactivation device.

changed seats myself thanks to forum also found useful website http://www.cannell.co.uk with manuals for 996 drivers sides three pins and white connectors - so it looks like no heated seats well looks like have a cold bottom as need to save up for next project cruise control before my november trip to IOM and a few round of the TT circuit (only been round on my bike at 150mph)
