Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Not sure why they told you this...I have a set installed on my car that I got from them just a few weeks ago.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone have an inside scoop on when we may see a full set of coilovers for the
Cayman
? I've heard that adjustable sway bars are just around the corner /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbs_up.gif
I think this will be the first car I don't do too many modifications to, but I definitely want to put some coilovers and sway bars on.
Alright smart guy. I was searching around, and it is easy to see one of referenced manufacturers' pages showing something for the Cayman but I can't find any retail places with pricing. I even went through a few of the sponsor pages - nothing.
Does anyone have any direct links?
Forum people always tell you to search, why waste even posting something like that.
http://www.gmgracing.com
has the Moton club's for about $4k but most everything else (PSS9's) requires you to call them.
I appreciate your help brian /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbs_up.gif
I'm no stranger to forums, but Cayman Club is by far and away the biggest 'search-posting' forum I've seen in a while.
I'd love to have some Motons, but I think I need to learn how to drive this car better first. Might start with the PSS9's.
If you're still in the learning phase, the stock car really is fantastic and will not disappoint you.
However, you can probably get half a second off your lap times at most tracks with the PSS9's after you get some tires and camber.
Just an FYI everyone.
We are warehouse distributors for H&R,
Bilstein
, and Moton. We buy direct with no middle man.
Here are some up to the minute suspension notes.
Bilstein
I spoke with Bistein NA this morning. Apparently the PSS9's are not in stock at this time. It sounds as though they will not be ready for a month or two. They may already be ready in Europe, but nothing for the North American market. Part # for non-PASM cars will be F4-GM5-C189-HO. These will fit the Cayman/Boxster in both S and non-S configurations. The Bilsteinsport shocks have also yet to be released for the Cayman. No part # available yet either.
H&R
I'm sure most of you already know this, but I will give details for those that don't. The Cayman sport springs from H&R are currently available. We have these on the shelves and can ship asap. Part # is 54020. We retail them for $399.95. H&R's advertised drop is 1.4' front and 1.2 in the rear. There are pics floating around this board of how the car looks with the springs. Needless to say the car's appearance/ride heightis really impressive once it's been lowered. More info on the springs can be found here.

The Cayman swaybars are now available. They are in H&R's warehouse and can be shipped asap. Part #'s are as follows:
Front 70168-2 <24mm Non-adjustable> AWE retail $255.95
Rear 71168-2 <22mm adjustable> AWE retail $210.95
The H&R coilovers are not available yet. A part # or price has yet to be issued. If someone has different info, please let me know. I found this out by contactin H&R NA just moments ago.
I hope this info helps, and we hope to earn your business.

Mike Do you know what is the diameter of the original Swaybars? What do you expect to gain and what do you loose? What meterial are the original bushings?
At this time I do not have the stock diameters, nor do I know the material of the bushings. My guess is they are rubber.
Typical gains with the addition of swaybars are less dive and squat with flat cornering. The ride will be about 20-30% firmer as well.
While shock and spring upgrade make big difference, swaybars take you to that next level. Huge improvements at theautocross and trackdays, too!
mike/awe. i haven't boght anything from awe, but you just become one of my fav vendor for honesty.
when i was waiting for moton, just about everyone i spoke to told me either they had it in stock or they are a week away.... well, not so. .... little did they know they are talking with someone who has had 6 sets of moton on a variety of cars, i dont like to hear BS or about vapor ware. if they can't ship within 24 hours, as far as i am concerned, they dont have it in stock and i have no interest in dealing with them.
Thanks, we try our best.
Mooty, do you run Moton on your Cayman? I have yet to see them or install a set on a Cayman.
Give me some detail on your setup. Thanks!
Not sure why they told you this...I have a set installed on my car that I got from them just a few weeks ago.
Oh and I posted the google link:
1. to be funny, it was tounge in cheek, but:
2. Searching google for 'cayman pss9' or 'cayman jic cross' or 'cayman moton' brought up many great vendor sites with pricing and tech info. GMG racing the link that was posted above was the first one that popped up...try it out.
You are a lucky guy. I did some research and
Bilstein
received 4 sets not too long ago. They were sold to a parts warehouse in California. One of those sets is now on your car.
There are no others in the country right now and it is going to be a month or two until they are back in stock.
I don't know if it is a supply issue or they want to update the kit in some way.
