Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I know most of you don't know me but I am metalman from the roadfly e46 M3 board. You can check me out over there. Anyway just wanted to pass along that with the following mods you can get the car to dyno 270 at the wheels on a Dynojet 248c, not a mustang or some other brand dyno that give different readings. The dynojet is the my preference as I always get consistent numbers whichever one you use so long as the weather tools are working properly & the settings are for SAE Corrected. Evolution Motorsports Intake Revo Software maxed out timing & fuel as we found this to make a considerable difference. Castrol 10/60 TWS Oil, you can only buy this from BMW Parts Anyone else dyno on a 248c out there? Our stock number was 260, our first go round w/ software & intake was 265 & w/ tuning on the dyno we achieved 270. One other note we achieved 273 w/ 109 unleaded race gas & no other mods. I will go back to the dyno on regular gas in a month to try again & see if the car adapted even more for better or worse. PS Don Istook at Istook Motors is to be thanked for spending the time on the dyno & I highly recommend him for tuning anyones 3.4

So what is that.... Like 310hp at crank with 15% loss?
