Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Had the PSS9's fitted (Ruf spec), been away for a few weeks so only really had a good blast in the car today.

Damping is set just the hard side of middle with a slight difference of a notch harder to the rear.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Had the PSS9's fitted (Ruf spec), been away for a few weeks so only really had a good blast in the car today. For road work it's a nice improvement, car feels very supple but nicley planted, hit a few large ish road sores and all seems far better handled than the std set up. Turn in is good, hard to tell what the effect on understeer is at this point as you have to be pushing on a bit to induce that on the road. In and out if biggish roundabouts it seems sweet. Damping is set just the hard side of middle with a slight difference of a notch harder to the rear. Overall ride height is set about 15mm lower, maybe 20mm at the front. Looking forward to experimenting a bit over the coming months, may even find a track before the end of the year! :drive:
Sorry to drag up an old thread and take it off topic, but have you had any problems with 7mm spacers on the front?
Reason for asking is that I am contemplating trying spacers on the front only. I find that the Turbo 'tramlines' more than the C2 on worn, rutted road surfaces. It seems that 911s are more prone to this than normal cars, and I think it might be because the rear track is wider than the front. This makes the rear wheels ride higher on the slope of the rut than at the front. Because the Turbo is even wider at the rear than a C2, it is more pronounced. Fitting spacers at the front might even it up a little.
Maybe this is all b*ll*cks, but I'd like to give it a try. Porsche don't recommend spacers for the C4S and Turbo so if there is any danger of fouling the arches, I'll give it a miss.
7mm spacers! I'm firstly surprised that you'll get sufficient hub lip to get an alloy to sit without vibration and secondly I used to get rubbing on a standard 4S with a track-biased geo so I dread to think what an extra 7mm will rub on!
Richard,
I havn't had any probs so far. In fact the front end has a lot more bite. But that could be coz it's lower & tilted down a little. Tramlining I kind of accecpt when you have that much rubber on the road but I don't find it an issue at all previously or to date.
Damian, the spacers have their own lip so centreing isn't an issue, it does look a close shave but no rubbing at all, but I've no been on a circuit with this. I have std tyre sizes.
I looked, the rears have their own lip the front's don't. They have a chamfred edge. I did get the longer wheel bolts too. Front tyres are 225/40. Came from Design911, quality looks top notch to me.
