Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi chaps, sorry, another query! I made the mistake of pressing in the roof box little flap things on one side of my car by accident, "fiddling" (!) - anyway they are now stuck half open, i think i have broken them, is it easy to fix these or not I was worried about water getting trapped down the holes, but my Indy Charles Ivey tells me that it drains out by the wheel teach me to absent mindly fiddle with things! maybe I should just get the Ski holder and drive arounf london with them locked on all the time - (not!)

POST 2Original post

The white plastic hinges are quite delicate, and prone to cracking. £1.22 each. You can change them easily - you have to take off the roof strip, which unclips. If you break the flap, they are £7.21 each, and you have to have them painted.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Richard, sounds like it could be one of the few cheap fixes! Please could you let me know how you remove the roof strip? I presume its a good idea to check the drain holes etc are not blocked, are they obvious? Would you happen to have a diagram or description to show how to remove? Any special tools needed Kind Regards Edward

POST 4Original post

Hope these help. They say to use a plastic spatula to unclip it.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cheers Richard, super, may pop in OPC West London tomorrow to see if they have the clips in stock (good excuse to go for a spin!) Edward
