Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2002 996 Porsche 911 Turbo My hydrolytic fin on the rear of the vehicle stopped moving up & down and the display on the dash was covered with a failure message so of course I took it into the dealer. Holy Smokes they wanted almost $2500.00 for this repair so I started talking to friends and forums when I found Terry at Automatic Transmission Works in Fort Worth Texas and after talking to him I decided to remove the rams & pump and send them to his shop. Two weeks and $750.00 later they were back on my vehicle working like new! This guy was awesome I just wish I lived closer to his shop.
