Didnt think about that, I made a bad assumption that it wouldnt adjust there.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

When I put my drivers side seat belt on, it has to "twist" to go over my shoulder and my lap, about a half revolution...instead of laying flat. I noticed on the passenger side there is zero twist. Is this how its supposed to be? It looks like I can take the bolt off on the bottom size and flip the "latch" part and that should fix it, but I dont know how much I want to be messing with safety stuff.

POST 2Original post

Mine is flat. Dealer had it screwed up once and it took a few minutes to get it back right but with no messing with the bolts and stuff. Try adjusting the holder first.

POST 3Original post

There is enough space in the slot were the seat belt goes though the latch for the latch to turn.. Before you think I am crazy, if you bend the belt on to itself in the direction you want it to turn and force the latch though it it will turn. This is not an easy operation, but with a little effort ,it is not that hard. It has happened to me. Good luck and don't despair. If you feel you can not do it, take it to the dealer.

POST 4Original post

Didnt think about that, I made a bad assumption that it wouldnt adjust there. There is a recess in the middle portion. If you fold it in the recess and then work it through, it is quite easy...took me about 30 seconds. Thanks.

POST 5Original post

Just follow what Jaico said. It is simply to get the twist in and just takes a little work to get it out. Just pull the belt out a bit put the twist you want in it and feed it back in the tensioner.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
