Took my car to the track this last weekend. When I got back there was a large rattle on the right muffler. Looking underneath it appears part of the weld seam failed on the muffler not the pipe. Bought it June 23, 2020. You think I am entitled to warranty replacement? Just submitted these picks to the dealer I bought it from.
Confused here does the dealer represent IPE? Did they install the
exhaust
? My guess is if IPE doesn't stand behind it you're going to be on your own and since you were on the track they may balk at replacement. Maybe IPE will warranty it but the reinstallation however I would bet is going to be on you.
You can always contact them directly, politely and see what they say

Yes read the website. Did many track events with my
981
and had Armytrix for several years no problem other than a broken bracket. This was the second time out with my 987. I would have gotten Armytrix again but they do not make a sports
exhaust
for a
987.1
.
I've never heard of them but bragging about best practices, best materials and then authoring voluminous paragraphs about what they don't cover is a "bad look". Even more true given the manufacturers and models they associate themselves with.
Yep, looks to be another cheaply made knockoff Asian brand copying other higher quality brands that will actually stand behind their products. Agency Power is another cheap brand like this to avoid with poor fitment and terrible quality construction with welds that crack open in short order
Not to beat the deceased horse but this snippet is even more LOL:
Before founding iPE, Gary worked as a welder in an engineering firm, where weld quality is of the utmost importance, and this is where he developed his exceptional welding technique
Any recommendation of a better moderate price sports
exhaust
system for the track. Leaning to
Soul
at the moment.
Funny! I didn’t realize that the name “Gary“ was so popular in Taiwan where IPE is based?
You can’t go wrong with
Soul
. Excellent product and support, and they even guarantee their sport cats for track use, despite the abusive environment for them
Sorry to hear about your failure. If you're interested in replacing it with a
SOUL exhaust
we back our products with a Lifetime Warranty that also covers track use!

I'm a certified welder and might be able to give a little insight and it does look like it cracked right outside the heat affected zone but I'm having hard time seeing exactly what piece broke. Was it this bracket?
You cant go wrong with SOUL, top notch components and fabrication work
