Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Makes sure all 4 corners match, I wouldn't recommend the 275 it's a nothing size and likely to cost you more than the 285/295, as its a ba€tard size.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi, just purchased a set of 18 inch wheels for my 996.1 c2 M030. new wheels are fronts et48 (8.5 inch rim) and rears are et45 (10 inch rim) so sit pretty wide at rear.
I'm thinking of going from 225/40 on original fronts 7.5 inch rim to a 235/40 or 235/35 as rim is now 8.5.
Also i've never really liked the stretch of the 265/35 original tyre on 10 inch rears and was thinking of going to 285/35 or 285/30. I don't want rub issues and assume there shouldn't be as the 996.2 has 285 standard. Any tips please as i'd like to get it spot on.
Also any recommendations re what brand of tyre would be appreciated.
Thanks Alex, good to know 295 fits at rear. I'm thinking of getting michelin ps4s 235/40 18's for fronts and 285/30 18 michelin ps2. Anyone got this combo?

Thanks for advice guys, think i'm going to go with michelin PS4 tyres. I can get 235/40 on front and 275/35 on rear. I think I need the 235 on fronts due to 8.5 inch rim and the 275 is nice as that wee bit wider (don'r do them in 285). I like that they will all be the same tyre and i have the PS4S tyres on an e46 m3 and like them and apparently quite similar.
Front wheels are 8.5 inch and 235 is recommended. Rears on a 996.1 are 265 normally so 275 is wider, would have went for 285 but PS4 only available in 275.
Maybe rub with narrow bodied arches and M030? I note the 996 GT3RS has 295s on the rear but arches are rolled. Definently don't want rub when pressing on and rolling arches is a pain that can result in painting.
