Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I just repaired my windshield washer tank leak and thus my washer fluid low error, now I have only one left. The problem is my "check reversing lights" error is wrong. I have both back up lights lighting perfectly and I just replaced a burnt out license plate light so everything is working as it should be. Yet I still have this error. I suspect it may have something to do with these aftermarket tail lights that came with the car. I'm not sure I like them, but I know I don't like that error looking me in the face on my dash every time I go for a drive. Has anyone come across this before, is this something that can be just coded out or deleted or reset? Do I need to just go back to the stock tail lights?

POST 2Original post

I have a somewhat similar scenario in that I first received the error "side marker light fault". (something like that) Sure enough, the bulb was burned out. I installed a new bulb and the marker light works perfectly, but instead of the error going away it has changed to "check left marker light". ?????? Of course I have checked it. A zillion times. Working perfectly. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

POST 3Original post

I had the side-marker light warning before. Could never get rid of the light until I changed my bumper, added 997 fog lights and turn signals, and rewired the front lights. It must have been something in the connection where the voltage dropped slightly, but never enough to affect the function of the lights themselves.
