Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I've had two codes show up on Dura. P0154 Porsche fault code 18 - Oxygen sensor ahead of Cat Cyl 4-6 and P1119 Porsche fault code 5 - Heating Power O2S ahead of cat bank 2 I believe these both relate to the pre cat O2 sensor on the R/H ( Drivers UK) side. Historically I've bought O2 sensors without the plug and soldered them on to the existing plug and saved a huge amount of money in the process however I'm struggling to find the part number for the O2 sensor on a MY99 3.4 Can anyone help?

POST 2Original post

Just did a quick search (hopefully I got the correct one) and these list the Bosch and genuine Porsche, Bosch is obviously cheaper and you know it will be genuine buying from these? https://www.design911shop.com/Porsc...Porsche-99360612801/prod874/?source=doofinder

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Infrasilver, I saw that one however it shows it's for 01 onwards. Porsche 996 C2/4 >>01 (before catalytic converter) Mine is a 99 C4

POST 4Original post

>>01 mean up to 2001 and is the same as the 993 Turbo. part number 99360612801 should be correct for pre cat Bosch number is 0 258 986 505 The 3.6 version is P/N is 99660617801 and is hugely more expensive. Bosch number is 0 258 986 602 I cross referenced both the above part numbers on Autodoc for the Bosch part numbers. Double check beforehand but I think the above is correct?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They've got their symbols wrong than as the less than symbol should open out towards the largest number, less than 2001 would be <01 or 01> and greater than would be >01 or 01<. Anyway, that does look promising so I'll give it a go, cheers, thanks for cross referencing! I hadn't thought to try autodoc

POST 6Original post

You my find your local Bosch autoelectrics factor is a cost effective source.

POST 7Original post

I bought parts from autodoc too, takes a while to turn up but good prices!

POST 12Original post

Just a word of caution. Bosch manufactures a lot of sensors etc in China. There is a possibility of fake/counterfeit products so if the price is "too good" you know how the saying goes. I would buy only those from reputable sources. Even if it means that the price is a bit higher. Doing that we also help online shops to keep products in stock for example.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Definitely! I've found Amazon the worst for counterfeit car parts and eBay generally okay (if you're careful) I thought it was priced about right for a bulk seller, if it is counterfeit it'll be going straight back!
