Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have just ordered the "oddments tray" to replace the CD holder in my C4s. It will be here tomorrow with a bit of luck
How do I go about changing them, is it a simple swap or is it going to be a total nightmare?
Any info appreciated lads
Get one from any OPC...or keep a very fixed eye on FleeBay......
I got mine from the OPC (round £25-£30) they even fitted it for me for free.... :thumb:
I replaced this 80s throwback too. Its a 1 minute job.
You will see that from looking at the replacement that it has 2 retaining plastic lips on top and 2 on bottom. Put a flat knife under the top edge of the cd holder in line with the retainers you will see on the replacement oddments tray
Gently lever and pull and it comes out easily.
Replacement just pushes and clicks into place. hey presto you are in the 21st century.
Drink holder
anyone know how much the cup holder is that goes in one of these dash slots?
easy fit?
I have a 1998 c2 and it has no drinks holder, most annoying!
Re: Drink holder
They are about £20each [l & r handed] but be careful they are fold away items and break fairly easily and can also break the vanes in the air vents when fitting which becomes very costly to repair.
Do you really need to drink and drive?
TB
ooh no, sorry, i was thinking more like this: looks like it needs a bracket or something for the two things to fit into the middle dash

but this is what i dont quite understand, isnt it modular and cant the climate just be moved into one of my 2 vacant slots below? like in the later cars its further down?
The AC panel will fit in the top slot or bottom slot. There are two different trims which go around the face of the panel, as the opening is a different shape top and bottom.
I think you might be referring to the cupholder kit which goes in the top slot, in which case you have to move the AC panel to the bottom slot. The retrofit kit is £43.01+VAT. Part No: 000.044.801.91, and it includes the AC trim.
