Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

It's a sad story, but I decided that last week. I decide I will purchased a new 911 Targa 4s this spring. I did not want to sell my 928 GTS, I loved it so much, but one of my young neighbor wanted it so much for so long ( He has been asking me for 5 years, if it is on sale ) I know him since he is a kid and I remembered him looking at my car 15 years ago when he was still a child. I call him yesterday and told him I wanted to sell him the car if he was promising me he will not sell back to someone else on the market (I even made a contract that he has to offer me the car on sale before selling it back). If I look the general market for the 928 GTS he got almost more than half price bargain for a pretty well maintain manual Canadian version GTS with low mileage, but I knew he would enjoy more the car than a unknow person and can still watch the car in his driveway during summertime . I hope and I will enjoy my new ride this spring. I transfered paper this morning and drove the car accross the street. It was a strange moment... I don't own a Porsche anymore...very strange feeling...

POST 2Original post

Can you share pictures of the old and the new?

POST 3Original post

Good luck with your new purchase! I always think of the movie Risky Business " Porsche there is no substitute".Great stuff. Sounds too like the car is going to a good home....

POST 4Original post

Sad moment indeed but congrats on the purchase. My father-in-law has a 928GTS and is very active in the OCIC, etc. Great car! Have fun with the 4S.

I had enough problems in the past.

POST 6Original post

It is always nice when you sell a car to a neighbor and then something expensive breaks out of the blue. LOL. Sort of like having your ex-wife move in across the street. Good luck with that.

POST 7Original post

928's were great cars and the GTS was probably the best example. Had a '79 for 18 years.
