Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Bought a used 2006 911 Carrera w/26K miles. Loved my Cayman S , but like the 911.

POST 2Original post

Congrats on the trade. I know you'll love the 911. We just traded out a 2008 Cayman for a 911tt --Ed

POST 3Original post

Congrats! I just moved the thread over from the 911 complaints area, I'm sure you didn't mean to put this in there.

POST 4Original post

Congrats! Welcome to the club. Post some pics.

POST 5Original post

The 997 is a fun car to drive. You may find that you have to show a bit of respect for corners you didn't think about in the Cayman. Have fun. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

POST 6Original post

Dude - Traded mine in for a 2008 C2S. Nothin' like it. The Cayman is a great sports car, the 911 is an epic sports car. Happy driving!

POST 7Original post

Just traded in my 06 CS for a 2011 Carrera S. Only driven it 100 miles or so but the first thing I noticed was the hill hold assist. Sweet! I wasn't expecting it but it sure was a nice surprise when I let my foot off the brake on a pretty steep incline leaving the Hotel. I'll miss the CS but I think life with the Carrera will be a pretty sweet ride!

POST 8Original post

Congrats on the upgrade. Not sure if it's a gen2 only feature, but the 987.2 has hill hold assist as well.

POST 9Original post

Does it? I had Gen 1 so never experienced it before. Sure would've come in handy in some of my old Jeeps I've driven through the years!

POST 10Original post

I have it on my '09' 997S. I believe the system was torture tested in San Francisco.
