This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I'll kick off. At about 70mph I get about 20mpg If im on the throttle then about 7mpg If Im at the track I get 3mpg

POST 2Original post

2011 911S only have around 4,000 miles on her so far. Broke her in by driving down to South Florida other wise I would only have around 2,500 miles. Anyway around town 17-18 mpg and on the highway around 23-25 mpg.

POST 3Original post

Those are some low numbers. Do you have a PDK? What happened to the vaulted 7th overdrive gear?

POST 4Original post

I dont know anything about the PDK, is it suposed to give you good over drive and therefpore good gas mileage...

POST 5Original post

2009 Carrera with PDK. Average 19-20 mpg in town, 27-28 on the highway. Trip meter shows ~6K miles at an overall average of 26 mpg

POST 6Original post

2009 C2S Cab w/ PDK. When the wife drives the car and I ride she gets around 19-20 in town, 23-24 on the highway, right lane, at 60-70mph (70 legal in FL). When I drive by myself in Sport or just manually shifting gears I get 15-16 in town. On the highway keeping up w/ traffic (80-90) I get 19-20mpg. Technology is great but there's always the human element gumming up the works. FWIW I always use either Chevron Techron or Shell Premium, both 93 Octane.

POST 7Original post

My 997 GT3 gives me 11.2L/100km which is pretty good this number goes up to 43L/100km at the track depending on how much i push.

POST 8Original post

I get between 18-22 mpg depending on conditions.

POST 9Original post

My GT3 gets 15-17 mpg around town and 25-27 mpg on the highway if I can keep it under 75 mph.

POST 10Original post

09 Carerra S 6 speed: On the highway about 26. Combined in town and on the road about 19.

POST 11Original post

Congrats on the new Carerra S Alan! Did I miss your post somewhere about picking this up already? I knew you were hunting for one...

POST 12Original post

I picked up an '09 Carrera S 997.2, with 7800 miles on the clock, at Okemos, MI last Thursday afternoon, and drove the 875 miles from there to home in MA on Friday in just under 13 hours including the 1.25 hour wait at US Customs. With the cruse control set at 71 on the 402 in Ontario, and on the NY Thruway from Niagara Falls to Albany, the car's computer ranged between 26.4 and 27.2 mpg. Doing a full tank to full tank measurement over a 345 mile stretch, the average calculated to 26.2 mpg.

POST 13Original post

You too?! Can't wait to see it, congrats and enjoy!

POST 14Original post

I have a '07 997.1 (stock - no mods) and finally did a reasonable road test. I was averaging 24 on the highway and 16-18 city.

POST 15Original post

Roadmaster, Did you get the white/tan Carrera S. I almost bought that one. It is a very nice car! Pete, I picked up a black/black 09 Carrera S. I'll post some photos in the next couple of days.

POST 17Original post

I have a 2008 911 Turbo. I average about 21 mpg on the daily commute. Not bad for 480 HP.

POST 18Original post

We have a 2011 911TT and the wife gets about 14-16mpg city and 20-21mpg highway. Car is a 6spd. It's her DD. That's actual gas pumped in vs mileage calculations, not the computer display.
