Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Use tapatalk' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use tapatalk' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

We here in the Hurricane Region have the good fortune of having a member who owns one of the finest private collections of historic Porsches in the world. The collection is private, but the family allows the Club to tour the facilty on occasion. The owner of the collection also regularly shows up at our Saturday morning coffee meets, often driving one of the amazing cars from his collection. Very nice guy!
This past Saturday he brought along a very rare car indeed. It's NOT old, but it is very cool! Sorry for the lousy iPhone pics...
There was a little blurb on Excellence.com about the dealer (Road Scholars) who brought two of these cars into the US. I believe the article stated that they are legal and both have been sold.
I just saw the article myself this morning. I'm a bit surprised they didn't keep one for themselves, but then again they do go for cars with "history."
It's a 2010 911 Sport Classic. Europe-only, only 250 were made, based on the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 (note the duck tail spoiler). Very exclusive and expensive.
Dave,
Don't they have to be crash tested to be street legal in the US? Note there isn't a regular license plate on the car. Maybe some sort of off-road or car show only exception? Or did they bring over 2, one to crash?

Thought I don't know the details, I believe there is now a way to get limited numbers of non-US certified cars delivered here - something akin to the "Gray Market" imports of the past.
As for the car being a parts-bin marketing exercise, you could say that. The car does come with the duck-tail spoiler and double-bubble roof, body kit, PCCB, PASM, Sport Chrono Plus, Sport Classic (Fuchs) wheels, and an uprated engine (408 hp). It also comes with a very cool interior with two-color woven leather seat and door inserts and adaptive seats.
So yeah, it's primarily a heavily optioned 911, but it is a very limited edition and folks with a lot of cash seem to like stuff like that!
It's not just for the European market, saw a RHD model recently in Melbourne Aus. If money wasn't an object, I'd buy it....very cool car. Much better than the GTS imo.
There is a thread on another p-car site about one of the owners of the two US cars attempting to get it his car legalized (if that's the correct term for it).
I think it's the best looking flavor of 911, inside and out, available today.
