Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

My dealer just called me to tell me he had some good news. My December build has moved to check point 8, and is now dated to be COMPLETED by November 30 at which time he will give me my VIN. i didn't think it would even be started till sometime in December! I am sure that this will change my projected delivery date. Any other December builds out there with the same update? Just what I needed, to be more excited! Aloha Russ

POST 2Original post

But you still won't get it until mid Jan earliest

POST 4Original post

Brian, Was yours a December build? Yes it still won't be here until January, but that is better than March! Russ

POST 5Original post

I went in to tell the wife the good news and ......well let's just say that she was less enthusiastic than I was. I think I have tapped that well dry! I guess all my Cayman gab is going to have to stay here for now. My Mom use to tell me when it comes to dealing with women on sensitive subjects that 'discretion is the better part of valor './fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif I think I better take wifey to a nice dinner tonight/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/angel_smile.gif. POST 6Original post

Mine is a November build (had a completion date of 11/22). If yours was originally a December build why was it going to take so long for you to take delivery in March? Not even a Porsche takes that long to get states-side (unless it sits on the west coast for weeks awaiting shipment to Hawaii, I guess).

POST 7Original post

Brian, My dealer told me worst case scenario would have been March, but most likely February. Now I am hoping on January! It does have to transfer from San Diego dock to the Matson line and that can take several days at best. Aloha Russ

POST 8Original post

All in all it's good news for you. I would have thought you'd have it around the release date now.

POST 9Original post

Brian, I can only hope!! I am quite pleased that it has moved ahead so fast. I will know much more next week. Aloha Russ
