My 06 987.2 got tiptronic emergency run light on red , I change the sensor last year and one month ago also change the grear box selector but when I drive back my car for 2week the light trun on again than I bring back to my cat to grage they update the grear box software and check for a week the problem should be fixed , but now 3week later the light on again does anyone know what happen is it I think the parts need to change is alreadly change but why the light still on anyone can help !

Your car is a 987.1 Find a mechanic who knows how to diagnose the problem rather than just swapping parts.

there are multiple causes to the emergency run light that includes amongst other things, gear selector/position sensors, MAF/intake related issues. the PIWIS diagnosis should be able to provide relevant error codes to help diagnosis.

No such thing as 06 987.2 with tiptronic. 987.2 started in 2009 and the automatic is called PorscheDoppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK). You've got a 987.1. You can edit the post and maybe the thread title. You might get better replies.
