I have replaced the head unit with a Kenwood KDX7100 with Navigation, Bluetooth, DVD, AM/FM/CD, Satelite radio and a back up camera.

I have been looking for replacement subwoofers for the Bose speakers in my 2007 Boxster. I found a set from Focal (model 13KS Power K2) that are an exact size match. I purchased a set from Woofers etc on line and installed them yesterday. They have a much better sound and have great clarity. I am running them on the head unit power and they sound terrific. The Bose system was poor to begin with. The only reason I had it was because it was in the car when I bought it. I have replaced the head unit with a Kenwood KDX7100 with Navigation, Bluetooth, DVD, AM/FM/CD, Satelite radio and a back up camera. I also added a Alpine 600 watt 4 channel amp. Then I replaced the 4 door speakers with Dynaudio 6 in speakers with seperate tweeters. The 3 inch speakers in the rear were replaced with 4 inch Dynaudio speakers. and now the subs are Focal. The final step will be to add another Alpine amp for the subs. The system sounds fabulous with the top down at freeway speeds. When the 2nd amp is installed it will be complete.
