Hey, quick question for those who replaced CS brakes - Porsche parts tells me in addition to brake pads I also have to replace "center wire" and "mount kit"... Are those a musts? Is the "center wire" a sensor that brakes when your pad wear is near 95%? What's the "mount kit"? thx!.

i've gone back and forth between stock and pagid yellow pads. i have tied the sensor wires out of the way and have no idea what the mount kit is. check out the article on changing brake pads and you should be able to see this is very easy to do yourself. i've never changed brake pads until i read the article.
