Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Whilst I appreciate the Cayman S is much more than just a straight line car, does anyone know what its "factory spec" time down the strip is.

POST 2Original post

From Car and Driver's Review (compared with a Z4 M): "The Cayman S rang in at 4.8 seconds to 60 and posted a slightly quicker quarter-mile time of 13.3 seconds at 107 mph on its way to an ungoverned top speed of 166 mph." 2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe v Porsche Cayman S - Hatchbacks/Comparison Test/Reviews/Car and Driver - Car And Driver

POST 3Original post

I can't believe those numbers. Trap speed of 107 would imply wheel hp of over 300.

POST 4Original post

I was joking! However, this explains why you're getting lower trap speeds than the magazine road tests, so the mystery is solved.
