It does bang and crash, I'm not sure how much of that is due to the MO30 and how much is due to it just being old though!

My car was definitley fitted with MO30 from factory as confirmed by the sticker under the bonnet, but the ride height looks high so I wonder whether it may have been replaced with a standard suspension setup sometime during it's life.
Leading evidence: 'mo30 and how much is due' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'mo30 and how much is due' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Install with mo30' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I'm running M030 dampers and H&R springs for something pretty close.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Quick question for you all.
My car was definitley fitted with MO30 from factory as confirmed by the sticker under the bonnet, but the ride height looks high so I wonder whether it may have been replaced with a standard suspension setup sometime during it's life.
Judging by the ride height, what do you lot think?
......and I know it's filthy, but it's a daily and I enjoy taking the 'scenic' route
Looks like M030 to me. You have a consistent arch gap all the way round the tyre. Standard suspension has a slightly larger gap at the top. You also have a bit of rake although it's hard to be sure with the body kit.
It does bang and crash, I'm not sure how much of that is due to the MO30 and how much is due to it just being old though!
Making the comparison from the images posted and noting what Griffter said about the arch gap I guess it must still be on it's original setup.
I think aesthetically I'd like the car a little lower, the GT3 looks lower than the MO30, anyone have any idea how much lower the MK1 GT3 is over standard on these?
Yep, unfortunately (or fortunately) things have moved on a lot in the nigh on 25 years since the M030 stuff was designed.
I'd urge anyone to buy proper recognised coilovers. Even second hand and have them rebuilt.
The ride is a revelation after M030.
Regarding GT3 ride height. The rear subframe is mounted solidly, hence it sits higher in the shell, so the suspension appears lower than a Carrera. The suspension isn't just shorter or lowered more.
So you still get the suspension travel even though it appears to sit lower.
Yes I'm pretty sure that's M030 ride height. My non-M030 C2 looked taller. I found the above side picture but annoyingly, looking closer at this picture it may have been before I replaced the front springs and dampers (so showing some sag at the front -not helpful-) but the rears are fresh in this pic. The difference isn't huge, but definitely felt it had a larger gap at the top when I looked from the side.
Just taken some measurements, hope it helps. My M030 kit is 30 months/ 8k miles old. Measuring from the top edge of the centre cap to the arch is 321mm front and 322mm rear.
