This is not a probability of success.

Lastly and importantly replace the third brake light panel with a blank plate as found on the OEM cars with a wing as the third brake light is integrated into the ducktail.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wondered if anyone has experience in the above. Both look much the same however is the quality comparable and are they both the same size? Thanks Mat

POST 2Original post

Not direct experience but been looking at both for a year and asked other's what they think. Rindt said the Stuttgart Classica was they ones they put on their machines so was good enough endorsement for me. I'll pull the trigger on that one when funds allow.

POST 3Original post

I have the RPM ducktail and the fit and finish is perfect, it is made of carbon fibre from an original Sport Classic mould by the same guys who make F1 parts. I don't think the other one is made of carbon fibre, that is probably why it's half the price. Lastly and importantly replace the third brake light panel with a blank plate as found on the OEM cars with a wing as the third brake light is integrated into the ducktail. Here is a video from the factory that makes the RPM ducktail. https://youtu.be/s82qMrS_Ak4

POST 4Original post

I saw the Lee Sibly (editor of Total 911 magazine & YouTube channel; That 911 Guy) video of the RPM fit, and he said the same.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There's a Carbon option on the Stuttgart Classica one too - It's £1075. I'll be getting a ducktail without the 3rd brake light as the longer term plan is to make the upper panel completely smooth losing both the redundant 3rd brake light and the wiper hole. Agreed the RPM Technik one looks stunning. Very pricey though.

POST 6Original post

It is pricey indeed, mines a keeper so made the investment. The RPM kit includes the wiring harness struts and ancillary parts, the ducktail on its own is a few hundred cheaper. I had the rear wiper deleted using this glass plug, cheapest mod you can do. https://www.killallwipers.com/

POST 7Original post

Unfortunately SC are one of these companies that insist on adding VAT at checkout (even after delivery address) so make that £1,290.00. A reason I'm reluctant to buy from them. Too annoying. And not that much of a jump to the RPM one after the unwelcome addition.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I went Stuttgart Classica in the end, should be ready in 3 weeks.

POST 11Original post

Excellent, I too have been toying with rear spoiler options for some time now, I look forward to seeing pictures of it and your comments on the build quality and fitment :thumb:

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will do! I'm starting a build diary here so I'll post the fitting etc there. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=146257
