Guys, for the second year in a row I'm having difficulty getting my Cayman S to show test ready for the emissions test. Here in Texas we can have one flag not ready and still get the test, but I have two. I have driven this car until I'm blue in the face. I took it to the dealer, who accomplished nothing. Today I have it at my local specialty shop, but I had to leave it - they are hoping that once the car is fully cooled down they'll be able to get the flags to set. This just seems so wrong - it shouldn't be this hard. I want to be able to take my car to any local inspection station and wait while it's inspected. I'm open to just about any suggestion - but I'm hoping for a way to do this that is "reliable / can't miss." Please feel free to make any suggestions, either here, or contact me for outside channel contact info if you prefer. Thanks, Kip

Just as a follow up, I have tried numerous "perfect driving plans" to make the flags set. These two *won't* *set*. One of them is related to the cat and the other is some sort of air/o2 flag - I don't remember that one exactly and don't have my references handy. Anyway, that second one is the one they're hoping they can get to set on a cold start.

KipIngram: I hope this worked out for you. Any results at this point? BTW- I don't care what they say, swapping a battery and I always insure the power remains on via a jumper. I had this with a 996 GT2 and follwed the PITA driving sequence I found for a 993tt. It worked. I can't believe nothing is published about this. A real nuisance.
