Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Everyone, Just put my hardtop on ready for the winter. The first time its been on since I had the car. Put the front in first and carefully dropped the back, lining up the pins with holes. Used the allen key and turned until it clicked once. Looked wierd as there was a gap of around an inch all the way round, but its on tight. Is this right?? The problem I now have is that the front windows go up and down fine. The drivers side rear window seems to get jammed and eventually comes up after a few presses. Once it starts going up its fine. Does anyone know about this problem and what I can do please??

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Very funny Roy!!!!! Never[8D]

POST 4Original post

As somewhat of an authority on hard tops and what can go wrong I think I can help. Are you talking about the gap where it looks as if the top is sitting high of the body all the way around the base of the top from rear quater window to the other rear quater window? so much so you can get you finger tips up and in? If thats what you mean - it's on ok. ArBee

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi ArBee, Thanks for clearing that up. Looked kinda wierd at first. Any thoughts about the sticky rear window?

POST 6Original post

No Sorry me old son, I don't and haven't had that issue myself. Sticky switch/connector somewhere by the sound of it if it comes up after a couple of plays on the switch RB
