As any one noticed their garage door opener remote locking and unlocking the CS?
I too noticed that my Cayman was locking “mysteriously”. I talked to the folks in the service department and they asked me if my garage was near the kitchen because the microwave had been locking and unlocking the Cayennes. I tested that theory and couldn’t get the doors to lock. Then I thought it might be the garage door remote. I tested that and nothing happened. (I have an old garage door opener. It does not have a rolling code. Maybe that would make a difference.) The other day I was walking by the car. My keys were in my pocket. As I fumbled for a pocketknife I heard the doors lock. I think the key fob is just overly sensitive.
Yes, if you search a bit on keys, you will find the keys are very sensitive. Check the files section. There is a TSB out where Porsche can readjust the sensitivity of the keys.

Has anyone noticed their garage door opener remote locking and unlocking the Cayman?
I noticed you started another thread asking the same question, so I merged them. Obviously you didn't get the answer you were looking for.
To answer your question based purely on the scenario you gave here, I have never heard of a garage door opener remote causing the doors on a Cayman to lock and unlock. I suspect the cause of your issue is as Chows4us described. However, if you suspect your garage door remote is really opening your car, take your car to the dealer so they can investigate.
I personally don't see how something like this could happen since the frequency that are typically used by garage doors are variations of 200-250 MHz (really old and not on a rolling code) or 315-390 MHz (current models with rolling code), and car key fobs usually operate on 400-455 MHz. I don't know the exact frequency that Porsche uses but I doubt its 390.
Chowsfus,
I too have to be very careful with my fob as it was unlocking the car if I hit the fob accidentally while in my pocket. very very sensitive.
Johnny
I was parked in a business park on day and came out to find both trunks unlocked. There were lots of electronic gadgets nearby. My escort when nuts when I pulled in. I Know that it was not the key fob because now I carry it in my top pocket. Still have not figured that one out.
Has anyone had their key adjusted at the dealer?? Did they try to charge you a 10,000 dollar setup fee??? They wanted 200.00 to change my basic settings. #@%&*^%!!!!!!!!!!!!. hendrick in charlotte. not where I bought the CS.
The key is a totally absolutely disgustingly horrible POS and the worst thing about the car except maybe the trunk clunk. At least is in only an annoyance rather than a driveability issue.
I've walked out of my office to find this too, until I got a lanyard and started carrying the key around my neck. I assume I crounched or leaned against something and bumped it.
Boy this is infuriating. I've seen several posts about dealers doing this. Our shop in Tucson does stuff like this for drive-ups pretty much any time and I've never heard anyone say they were charged for it, whether or not they bought here. Reputation is everything, and I guess this is why I like living in a "small town" city.
TOTALLY agree. I MUCH preferred my '00 Boxster S key.
Are you in the US or overseas? Not sure where I saw this, but I thought the US cars and the European cars used a different system for the remote, and that the garage door issue had been a problem in the UK?
