Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

1

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

If these are the wheels, then remove the spacer and they are straight bolt on to your car (you'll need different bolts though, about £20 from OPC - slightly more for locking set IIRC).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

will wheels off a 996 carrera 4s fit my carrera 2? just wondered with the 4s havin the wider body if the wheels are wider.

POST 2Original post

I thought the C4S wheels were the same 18" rims I have on my C2?? (225/40 ZR18fr, 265/35 ZR18 rear)

POST 3Original post

Depends, you might need offsets. What type and ET value are they? If they are the Turbo II ones, then I'd avoid, if they are either Carrera 5 spoke or Techno then they are fine. You can make the Turbo II fit with spacers, but it's a pain in the a*.

POST 4Original post

probably not as the offset is different worth checking the ET number

POST 6Original post

265/35/18 on pre-facelift 285/30/18 on facelift 265/35 are also winter specification for facelift cars. The C4S has 285/30/18 rears, but like I said, the ET (offset) is different on the standard Turbo II C4S and Turbo wheel. If the owner factory upgraded them to Techno or Carrera 5 spoke, then they will fit with a rear spacer (15mm, IIRC). If these are the wheels, then remove the spacer and they are straight bolt on to your car (you'll need different bolts though, about £20 from OPC - slightly more for locking set IIRC). Cheers.
