Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Our dealer here is a Premier dealer and I like their techs, else I would have used an indy.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

RoW M030 is ready to go on in the next few days. Need to decide on alignment at the indy shop or dealership. Both do great work and similar in price. Bonus to the dealer for a loaner car though which makes things easier. I'll snap some before and after shots.

POST 2Original post

mine also, bilstein sport and hr springs are you installing yourself?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes self install. Looks straightforward from the Renntech DIY.

POST 4Original post

Mark the spots where the nuts at the top of each strut are so that you can get the suspension close the the original alignment. This should allow you to drive it some before the alignment, at least to the shop. It is helpful to drive it for a hundred miles or so, so that the springs settle in before the alignment.

POST 5Original post

Good luck with the install! You will love the new feel and look

POST 6Original post

have fun with the install, can't wait to see the end results. I have all of my items waiting on me to return from Iraq...My wife keeps on asking me what I plan to do first when I get back...that's a no brainer...put my car on jackstands, drop the suspension, and install my springs...lol...

I hope by put my car on jackstands you mean "get naked", by suspension you mean "panties", and by springs you mean... I'll stop now.

POST 10Original post

Sounds great...RoW M030 ... my US suspention it too much...will be doing the same.

POST 11Original post

I had the dealer do my alignment to GT3 specs - nicer handling and look. Our dealer here is a Premier dealer and I like their techs, else I would have used an indy. I still think the rear of mine sits higher than it should with the RoW M030. I'll be interested to see yours when done. Btw, you can ignore my pm since I just saw this thread.....

POST 12Original post

Paseb - will be interested in your driving impressions with the Bilsteins and H&R sport springs. Please post your experience.

POST 14Original post

lol...you got all of the euphemisms spot on!

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Put the rears on today. Perfect amount of lowering IMO. What is the torque spec for the single strut bottom bolt? Hopefully the fronts will be just as easy.

POST 17Original post

Don't what the torque is. The rears are easier than the front. Fronts will be tougher and longer. Looking forward to the pics.
