Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

The only time can they can improve stopping power is when your system is so spongey that you hit the floor before maximum deceleration - but hopefully no one is running a Porsche that badly maintained !

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

They make NO difference to stopping power - they only reduce the pedal travel by not expanding as much when you're pushing hard.

No unique explicit quoted action; no causal link assigned

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

are these fitted as standard on the turbo's, or are they something that needs to be bought? found that they make a big difference on my previous cars stopping power.

POST 2Original post

Not sure if they're standard on the Turbo or not. They're not on my C2S. They make NO difference to stopping power - they only reduce the pedal travel by not expanding as much when you're pushing hard. However they often make the brake pedal feel much better. The only time can they can improve stopping power is when your system is so spongey that you hit the floor before maximum deceleration - but hopefully no one is running a Porsche that badly maintained ! Enjoy the Turbo. Paul 996 C2S Anniversary

POST 3Original post

what Paulus said. Definitely makes the brake pedal feel better
