Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would at least get under the car and check the AOS bellows to see it is oily or torn up...and look around under the hood for anything obvious.....Then if nothing found just drive it and pay attention to any symptoms...

I have about 3 to 5 driving hours on the car since this happened and the other day jacked up the car to look for oil leaks, can't seem to get a view of AOS can only see up about to where the crank sensor is if this is where I should be looking, checked all over under engine both sides and bottom and see no leaks under hood no signs of anything out of place, engine still running good still this incident is worrisome to me because now that the weather is getting nice I had planned to take a few longish road trips and fear having a major breakdown and ending up on the side of the road

I figured I'de start with the MAF sensor, ordered one up, installed and idol still stumbling badly ok may be vacuum leak so I go to the oil fill tube pull it lose and wiggle around a bit, nothing , then I pulled the cap and held my hand over it and I could feel some suction then I just laid my hand on and totally blocked it off.......POP pulled my hand back quickly, it sounded like poping one of those bubbles in bubble wrap only louder idol smooths right out running just fine....WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED???
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Maybe the rubber bellows on the bottom of the AOS has softened and was leaking and blocking it off fully popped a hole in it that is now sealed with a loose flap of rubber...
Just guessing here.....but the issue will probably return at some point...
