Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Good day hope all is well. I own a 07 cayman s 60k miles.. it's time for a clutch. I been looking at clutch masters I had them on my other vehicles and was very happy is Any one using that clutch? Also I know Sachs is popular opinions on that clutch would appreciated. What about LWFW I keep reading mix opinions? It is a daily driver but I do drag race sometimes.

POST 2Original post

I just did this, I drive mine as much as I can and do some DE events. Lots of opinions but Id read up on the LWFW, personally I steered clear. I went with a replacement LUK Dual Mass Flywheel, Sachs clutch, and did the rear seal, slave cylinder, imput shaft seal and clutch master as well. Great time to upgrade the shifter cables as well if its a manual, much easier to do while the trans is down. I made my own engine holding tools and I highly recommend the Porsche factory flywheel tool if you plan to do the job yourself. FCP Euro is hard to beat pricing wise....

POST 3Original post

I did the sport clutch and LWF option on mine. Engine revs much more freely now. It does loose RPMs more rapidly when downshifting. No clutch chatter or vibrations.
