I have the
Porsche
Sport Design 19x9.5wheels with 265/35x19
tires
on the rear... I need to know if anyone has put the 19 x 11 wheels with 305/30x19
tires
... If so, are you using the 15mm spacers? Please let me know what's worked for your
Cayman
for those members that have upgraded the rear wheels and
tires
... Thanks...
Bull30,
this past thread
discussed this. From my knowledge, it can be done with spacers as long as the offset of the new wheels fits. Out of curiosity, what wheels are you considering upgrading to?
I read the other thread on this forum... I don't believe anyone actually came out and gave tire sizes and specifics for 19' wheels... I currently have the
Porsche
Sport Design wheel which is 9.5'... Wheel Enhancement has the same
Porsche
wheel in 11'... Of course they don't recommend going to an 11' wheel... What I'm looking for are
Cayman
owners with 19' wheel that have actually made the change successfully...
According to Brandywine
Porsche
's parts department, the Champion 11'' wide, 20'' tall rear wheels will fit with 18-21mm spacers. So I'm guessing, congintent upon offset of course, any wheels made for the 997's will fit the
Cayman
with the correct spacers. Sorry, I can't be of any direct help regarding 19'' wheels and which spacer size. But you could ask them, or another dealerships parts department. - Suneet
What do you still need spacer given the 11" track?
I have Techart 19" Formula
GTS
wheels on my CS. The standard fitment is 19x8.5 w/ 235/35/19 in front and 19x11 with 295/30/19 in rear using 15mm spacers in the rear only. There is a thread in the mods section which shows the wheels (Techart springs).
i have 19x11's on the back of my car with 295/30/19
tires
. the dealer put spacers on the back, i don't know what size of spacers, i should but don't. from the back, it looks pretty sweet. my pics are under the title "new pics" on
cayman
