Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just ordered 4 custom Alpines replacement speakers for my 996 , anything has to be better than the Nokias. Has anyone been able to fit a small sub under the seat . thanks

POST 2Original post

No need for a seperate sub if you fit these...sound fantastic but not cheap.. non Bose systems only though

POST 3Original post

X50 Look great but what make are they and where can you get them? TB

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks good but a bit more than what I want to pay no doubt. I am getting 4 custom Alpines for 260 quid fitted and they do a custom sub for under the seat too so may get my Indy to do this too.

POST 5Original post

They are from Jehnert, a German company that you are probably not aware of, but they specialise in sound upgrades for German Cars... http://www.jehnert.de/typo3/index.php?L=1 each set are trimmed in leather to match your car so they would need your trim codes, the sound quality is excellent. Fronts are 2x6'' woofers in the doors and a 4''mid and tweeter moulded to the factory dashtop grilles, rears are 8'' woofer and mid/tweeter.Witha 4 x 120w amp they sound fantastic , far superior to the Bose option. They are available from caraudio specialists but are special order only. Dan

POST 6Original post

Hi Jamma, Can you expand on your choice of the custom alpines and who's fitting them please? I too would love to get rid of the nokias from my C2 Cab and replace them with something better. Thanks Roger

POST 7Original post

Ditto! Still trying to sort my sound system out for a reasonable price and without replacing door cards as two sepcialists have suggested! Why can't these people realise we just want reasonable sound, not as if we're in a concert hall! So what sort of Alpines and who's fitting them?

POST 8Original post

I owned a 996 Turbo where the previous owner had filled in parcel shelf (from side to side) to form box to take base speaker - see post below

POST 10Original post
