Though I noticed you were after Carrera S wheels on your other thread, they are actually the most abundant wheel for used sale but are still more expensive than buying a used set factory set of 18''s.

I am buying a Cayman and wanted to get two sets of wheels, one for show in the nice season, 19's and one set for winter and snow, 18's.

I am buying a Cayman and wanted to get two sets of wheels, one for show in the nice season, 19's and one set for winter and snow, 18's. Is it best to buy the 19's from the dealer and find somebody selling thier 18's, becuase they upgraded to 19's later on? I have been researching the 19's that Porsche sells and i can find them nowhere cheaper than buying them directly on the car. Also, I see some people have done the same thing, or they change wheels for racing. Do you do this yourself? Does the tire need to be balanced etc? Do you need to take it to a pro to do? -B8

I think wheel enhancement offers a great selection and service, but their prices on wheels can definitley be beat. If it's factory 19'' wheels you want, definitley get the car with them. Though I noticed you were after Carrera S wheels on your other thread, they are actually the most abundant wheel for used sale but are still more expensive than buying a used set factory set of 18''s. There's one with tires in the classifieds on this forum and I will be selling my set later on as well. Once a tire has been put on the wheels and is originaly balanced, you can simply change wheels yourself and you won't need an alignment if you stick to factory wheel offsets and tire sizes. - Suneet
