Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check with them' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check with them' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've been to the Porsche museum once already a few years back, but made the mistake of not signing up for the factory tour ahead of time. If you have been on the tour or have any suggestions please share. Any benefits if you are a current Porsche owner?
Heading over in September for two days of Neurburgring BMW Ring taxi and renting a Cayman and then DTTM races. Then off to Oktoberfest in Munich. Will need rehab.
Thanks in advance!
I actually just came back from Germany last week. They normally giving PCA member a free museum and factory tour if you make a reservation ahead of time.
They gave me free museum (for everyone in my group) but they could not give me the factory tour.
They are currently doing some re-tooling in their factory and no factory tour available until September. You might want to check with them before you go.
Just got back from vacation herding 5 kids through 4 days at Disneyland and Universal Studios in the deepest darkest heart of full tourist season.
You win.
Gentlemen...
I am living in Munich right now so it would be great to prost a ma or few regardless of oktoberfest shennanigans or not. Although it is cheaper by quite a bit to have the same beer outside of the grounds.
Don't know about the factory tour as they are probably on holiday right now as factories shut down during August usually. Never been to the factory, but I guess it's like other auto factories. The museum is great and I highly suggest making a reservation at Christophorus restaurant downstairs for lunch. Great steak.
One question I had for Petersa9 is where did you rent the Porsche from and what were the restrictions. It's kind of expensive and the km allowed per day are limited. I'm trying to rent a fun car for a roadtrip through the alps soon and having pretty difficult time finding a facility to rent some decently fun car, although it doesn't have to be a Porsche.
Sadly, my friend is in LA and his Cayman R sits in a garage here, but I digress.
Again, if you gents want to drink, shoot me an email at

.
And if not, have fun at oktoberfest. It's........intense.
We took a train from Munich to Stutt and it was a great experience. Station spits you out at the museum parking lot, super convenient. Museum was incredible, only wish I could've stayed longer (my travel companions weren't big car nuts like me so I took what I could get!)
Personally, a day trip was great was all I needed. Stuttgart itself was a cool town and we were able to easily walk over to what I guess was the 'city center' and relax at a biergarten and grab lunch after the museum.
Cool library near by too if you're into that sort of thing
Have fun and take lots of photos!
The factory tours are usually booked up quite a ways out. I've been in Stuttgart three times in the last 3 years and last year was the first time I was able to get on a factory tour for the 911 line. Even then I suspect it was because we had rented a 911 4s for two weeks and I had also rented a GT3 RS for a day(gave them lots of money) so they kindly offered to sneak us on to a tour. The tour was cool but the museum is, in my opinion, much more of a do not miss.
If you are in Stuttgart in early September make friends with a local and ask them if they know of a Besen dinner you could go to. Bad Wurttemberg is a big wine producing region but most of the vineyards are so small they don't bother to bottle and distribute their wines so the set up restaurants in their front yards and you come have dinner and wine. They call them Besen, which is German for broom, because they would put a broom above or near the front door of their house to signify they were serving food and wine. One of the coolest experiences I've had in Europe.
Germany in the fall is the best, your trip sounds like a blast. Have fun!
