Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any tips on removing manifold to replace gasket (blowing) on o/s bank? All the bolts look rusted away. Is this a diy job? Or a dealer job? Thanks in advance guys.

POST 2Original post

I would say get an indy to do it. The studs have a horrible habit of shearing off in the head, and it's a specialist job to get them out.

POST 4Original post

Indy or Diy very much depends on how much you like Diy! The matter has been raised before as shown in the link:- http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=598130&mpage=1&key=&#598465
