Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

One of the first things I found out about my Boxster after I bought it is that the CD drive isn't in the best condition. It skips parts of the song when I go over a bump at speed, and starts playing scratchy noises on new CD's. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'm thinking of getting a new CD drive for it and not sure where I should be looking for a good deal. I can't spent much, as my budget is pretty small. Any suggestions?

POST 2Original post

If it were me, I wouldn't bother replacing the player. Instead I'd add an aux cord for an MP3 player and be done with it. Replacement players can be had on ebay, dismantlers, or it can be repaired or replaced by Becker (OEM Mfr.) - http://www.beckerautosound.com/parts/index.html

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ooh adding an AUX chord would be really great, I could play my iPod on it. Where can I get the jack for it?
