Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys Heater blower motor stopped fuse is ok going to look at the relay. Any other ideas or suggestions, is there a typical fault. Can I take the heater unit out without to much trouble Thanks in advance Steve

POST 2Original post

You can drop the blower unit but to be fair i prefer to remove the glovebox so i have good access to everything i need . Wiring diagram is below but fuses .. C7 , E7 and D6 need to be checked first .. After that its a voltage check at the fan to see if its got voltage to spin .. if it has then the fan is faulty .. if not you back track to the resistor pack . Try flicking the fan through the pollen filter housing ... it might be a dead spot on the motor and moving it will get it working .. that again proves its a fan motor . EDIT ..starred out .. POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks DeMort I found the drawing was hoping it might be the relay

POST 4Original post

A relay is easy to prove on any system with a four pin relay .. just bridge term 30/87 with a bit of wire .. that will activate what ever system you do it on . If that does get it working then you need to check term 85/86 for a feed an earth when the system is activated . if thats ok then it's the relay . Relays do die .. it's not common but possible .. im afraid im leaning away from it being that but hopefully i'm wrong as a relay is a quick and simple fix .
