Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The specs are here: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=230692 The sensors wear through when there is about 4-5mm left on the pad.

POST 2Original post

Richard - thank you very much for prompt and very helpful answer. [ ]

POST 3Original post

Question on front disc and pad thicknesses, minima etc. What is the thickness in mm of new front disks and what is the recommended minimum thickness before they need replacing? Secondly, when the brake pad wear indicator lights up, how much wear (again in mm) is left of the pad? Suspect my front ones are getting near the limit, but just want to check what the corporate forum wisdom is on this. Many thanks
