Will one type of tape work for both heat exposed and cool or do we use two types?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm planning on adding wires to the harness in my Tip to Manual Conversion. I confess to having OCD and other maladies when it comes to maintenance and repair. I plan on using the same harness wrap as the factory. What is this tape and where does one buy it? Part of the affected harness will be in the cabin and the portion of the harness will be in the engine bay for the reverse light switch wires, so heat exposed. Will one type of tape work for both heat exposed and cool or do we use two types? This is the wrap in the frunk around the headlight harness and the sound system harness.

POST 2Original post

Pretty sure the wide tape is Tesa 51036. The fuzzy tape is also Tesa, I don't have that part #. The skinny tape is the skinny version of the 51036 tape.
