Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys, quick question I have a 996 c2 with aero kit and the spoiler has an annoying rattle. It rattles when it's ticking over, when you shut the doors or when you go over a bump. Both the screws on ether side are tight but the central wing is slightly loose causing the rattle. Has anyone else had this or know a fix? Also I have seen others like mine with the central wing adjusted to a steeper angle, how do I do this? Thanks in advance for any advice

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Maybe Ill just crank the bolts up!

POST 4Original post

Here you go. The Porsche installation guide for the cup aerokit. Scroll down to find out how to adjust the wing and also see diagrams of what the fixings are like etc. Hopefully useful for you. I've uploaded the pdf file to wetransfer. http://we.tl/LA8N4IHdHL

POST 6Original post

Could you update the link for this as I cannot open it. Many thanks.

POST 7Original post

I swap between a standard deck lid and the taco regularly and I have to adjust the catches each time. To stop it rattling, you may find you'll need to adjust the receiving latch in the engine bay to make it sit a little lower. Just 2x 10mm bolts.

POST 8Original post

Thanks, it's the centre section which is adjustable which rattles, just wanted to know what to look out for before I start taking tanks apart.
