Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

To remove the heater vent o/s/f then this is needed .. very useful for tight spaces but again this is an example .. search for your own .

Trim tools .. i have a dirty set and a clean set for interior use .. in this set it has my main 2 trim tools ( 5th picture down ).. the upper image and the bottom 2 of these .. the lower right one and i can remove just about every tim in your car with just this one .. the lower left is a heavy duty version of this ..
If you have ever tried removing a 997 door card then you will appreciate this tool !
In short .. any set you wish but it needs to contain at least these ones .. i've selected at random as i use snap on tools mainly .. i break them i get a free replacement is why .
When using a trim tool .. always be aware of it slipping .. silly i know but these can still scratch leather .. use your other hand to support the tool or block it to make sure that can't happen .. id rather hurt my hand than scratch leather !!
He's referring to the images one the Amazon link to the trim tool set.
I bought a set recently but it's nowhere near as good as that set. Wish I'd asked here before buying.
My contribution is to add, get some good masking tape. Stick it to the edge where you are going to use any trim tools to give a bit of protection to the trim.
They are very useful in tight spaces .. many different types but i feel a cheap one that is only ever really needed when everything hits the fan is best ..
Its only got to get you out of trouble once to have paid for itself .
Best you don't get the snap on version .. that and a couple of sockets set me back £150 .. mechanics have to supply their own tools .. sigh .
