Have replaced the secondary air pump on my 2002 996 cabriolet and have encountered fault codes 80 secondary-air system bank 1 and 208 secondary-air system bank 2.

I had that problem after pulling the engine to do the bearing a few months ago. A couple vacuum lines in the back (front?) cracked during the process but weren't obvious. TC

Check your vacuum supply. The lines, canister, one way valve and switch over valves. Is it a tiptrontic? If co check the coolant shut off valve on the trans.
