Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

With all the 964/993 Track cars, why does no one do a 996 track toy ? Cage, strip it out, susp, remap..ect..... With prices as low as they why do people still choose the 964-993 to make there tarck toy ? Is it, the engine not stong enough, handling ??? Any views ?

POST 2Original post

POST 5Original post

Rent-Racecar have one available for use at the ring. Nothing wrong with it at a conceptual level, but unless you are doing the all the work yourself or already have one to upgrade, a Mk1 GT3 at current prices probably makes more sense.

POST 6Original post

this is what i asked months ago... they weigh (std 3.4) the same as a 964. but i bet its easier to lose weight from them. I think its potentially a very good idea.

POST 8Original post

http://911uk.com/ads_item.php?id=695 base car with the aero bits already......

POST 9Original post

not just yet... i've done to much to this one to pass it up just yet...

POST 10Original post

Yes this is a known problem on the carrera and boxster. Went for the X51 kit, was thinking about the R-9095 kit but after reading up on us forums x51 was the way to go. Pics soon :thumb: Wallet empty

POST 11Original post

With the X51 pan how does it mainly differ from the stock? I've seen pictures side by side showing the rubber baffles but doesn't the stock have plastic baffles already? Maybe I'm completely wrong... Is it just a straight swap whilst doing a fluid change? The R-9095 attachment shows modifying the existing holes, slightly confused as to what the X51 does that the stock housing doesn't if they both have 'baffles' :?

POST 12Original post

WOW - the guy wants 18k for it and has spent 15k on engine and clutch (sounds a bit much(?) - but that means the rest of the car is only costing you 3k!! BTW, you want to buy one with a damaged engine and clutch for 10k so you can take the opportunity to do what needs to be done..... as they did in Total 911 a few months back! LOJO
