I am being offered a car that they have amended the ECU, changed the manifolds and exhaust and claim to have upped it to 520BHP :?:

It's only running 1.0-1.1 bar on the in-car gauge, however i believe someones changes the original Milltek style system for a Tubi competition one!

Hi Anyone had any experience with this company in tuning a 996 turbo? I am being offered a car that they have amended the ECU, changed the manifolds and exhaust and claim to have upped it to 520BHP :?: Not able to see the actual car and drive it until Wednesday but appreciate any thoughts anyone out there has. That's about the correct BHP - what's the torque curve looking like and are you getting the important RR print-out? What you will notice with the big power rush is that it kicks-in lower in the rev range under boost. You should be seeing 1.2/1.3bar on the in-car boost guage when the car is being floored. It's important to "screw the nut" and take time to get use to the hike in power/torque as the way a 996T/GT2 behaves as it unloads it's new found power & torque will be rather different to what you may be use to. One thing that almost caught me out a few times was arriving too fast into known corners vs what the approach speed use to be like . It may sound obvious but are the brakes all in good condition as you will certainly need them more than ever before

I've just bought a DMS tuned car too. Its an X50 turbo though supposed to be running circa 550hp with stainless headers, full exhaust and remap. It's only running 1.0-1.1 bar on the in-car gauge, however i believe someones changes the original Milltek style system for a Tubi competition one! Seems to go ok and I know what you mean by power delivery!
