Suggestion
It goes to the supermarket every week, it gets left in airport car-parks, the rear footwell is littered with Red Bull cans, empty coffee cups and water bottles and it gets cleaned about 3 times a year if it's lucky!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Change your shoes when you get in
Clean your spares. Before you put them in the car
Wait till 80 deg.before streching his/her legs(car that is)
Park away from other cars to avoid car door damage
Get out like a lady with a skirt on to avoid scuffing the sill
Shout at passengers for closing the door with the glass and not the handle
Regret that you have a passenger
Convinced that the term "tail up"origin is related to Porsche
Ban food and drink and smoking of course
Set your alarm when locking the garage door(onward journey)
Feel that your Porsche sort of owns you in some way.
Remember University challange quote"I've got a Porsche he he"but remember not to say it aloud
Is it just me?
I have never done any of this with other cars!!??
So what do you do?
It's just you, I reckon...
I do wait until it's properly warm before giving it the beans, but then I've always done that with all my cars...
Otherwise, it gets left in the road at night and driven as intended - every day!
It goes to the supermarket every week, it gets left in airport car-parks, the rear footwell is littered with Red Bull cans, empty coffee cups and water bottles and it gets cleaned about 3 times a year if it's lucky!
Perhaps I should get a Scooby or an Evo - I'm clearly not worthy of Porsche ownership :wack: :thumb:
Seriously though, I am proud to drive a 911, as it's the realisation of a boyhood ambition... However, I've ticked that box (well & truly at 8 years and 110,000 miles) and will only have another if it remains the best car for me at the price I can afford to pay: Which is looking less likely after the relatively massive depreciation of 996 and 997 models.
So I am not the only one. I don't do the shoe thing, but I do make sure they are clean. A wash, polish and vacuum once a month even in this bitter weather (always checking the weather at weekends) serves me therapeutically. The car does not rule my life but certainly influences it! Its looking forward to a service, alloy refurb and bodywork correction soon...£ Will be upgrading to a Targa 4S PDK in 18 months....well in my dreams!
p.s
1. I can only eat food/drink in the car
2. no kids
3. i take passengers reluctantly which includes the Mrs
4. I hate white van drivers, and their dumb passengers (one tried to spit on my car yesterday!) who want to race me.....ALL THE TIME.

As Adeymars lists really. I have a carpet outside the 911 in the garage where I do wipe my shoes before I climb in. Also would like to get into a T4S Gen 1 at some point this year. And I always get raced at lights - I always let them win though as it's not worth it.

Bizarre do you ...
Yes I do all those things. The way I see is my c4scab is my mint boxed dinky toy, so its got to be spotless and all of that sort of thing, I cant bear it looking dirty either inside or out and I just enjoy drinking a cup of tea whilst gazing at my perfect car. Maybe any psychologists reading this could offer us help. :x
I wait till its warmed up before going above 3k.
But other than that its parked on the street and gets used everyday.
Im getting more and more relaxed about it now after having it for about three
months now.
It gets washed outdside and cleaned inside most weeks tho.
In other news i can report after yesterdays drive to work, it can easily stay with an 08 M5 up to about 100mph off the lights. Total boy racer i know, but it was his fault ... He was egging me on ....
Luckily we were on a dual carriageway.
+1
Wash it once every six months (dont tell Elite)
Ate a Kebab in it 2nd week I had it.
2 bags coal in the boot.
kids 7 & 9 jump in the back like its a hire car.
Haven't had a shag in it yet tho..... not sure my back could deal with it and don't want the fire brigade to turn it into a cab trying by to get me out.

....the good thing about the quality of OPC 911 overmats vs those in reasonably priced cars, is that you don't get any carpert burns  ....however, due to dampness caused by minor windscreen leaks, 911 windows certainly do "steam" up quicker/more than others...maybe that's a good feature, as it should keep any doggers at bay/away from any 911 (until the fire brigade finally arrive to help those with bad backs) :hand:
ahhhh this is the advantage of being a wheelchair user see ... I don''t get muddy carpets from shoes!!
Mind you its a bit of a pain when placing slightly dirty wheels inm the back! hey ho!!!
No comment in some other activities! lol
Ohhh yes As I'm selling my car its a pain as I always let the car come up to temp before pushing on!
Now how do I get that over to potential buyers? deep sigh!
I think some suit deleted my post... ho hum..
