This is not a probability of success.

Anyone used touch up paint and was the result any good?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Astro Silver is very close but I found a paint called metallic Chrome, the lid looks like a mirror but the result is almost identical to Porsche Silver bits. For the best results sand the whole unit down to paint the whole thing.
Then get carried away and paint lots of other things!
Cheers, where did you get the metalic chrome from?
It's only to do the boot opener where the previous owner scratched it to bits.
Are those cup holders really that colour blue or is it the photo?

I will get all the details off the tin tonight.
Are you refering to my Ebay auction? They are Jet Black but yes I agree they do look Blue in the photo... down to the flash I think.

Got the tin in front of me...

I am not kidding, this is almost a perfect match even though it says it is Chrome infact IMHO it looks even better.
I am doing the same job, boot handles. It is a seat out job to get to those Torx30's.. be careful of the seat wiring underneath the seats *Disconnect battery first, these are on the air-bag circuit*
Now pay me £50 for me cup holders! lol
There I was thinking a simple job to undo 2 screws and swap the
units over.
£50 :hand:
Plasticoat is good stuff, have used it before....I think I have some grey
crackle finish in the garage.. now there's a thought!!!

I have got loads of tools but to do it without removing the seat needs a T30 x 45mm shaft in an allen key style for leverage.

I have just sprayed up a set of wheel bolts with satin black Hammerite.
I hope it lasts longer than the black jappaned ones which went rusty after 3 months.
